The Lord Mayor of London's Office
I was commissioned to illustrate a children's book by the Lord Mayor of London's office, 'The Curious Cat and the Lord Mayor's Show' by Christy White-Spunner.

The brief, my process and final delivery of artwork.

Briefed to illustrate a full 24 page picture book plus a cover design, in full colour

Character design and set of 12 spreads, delivered as roughs, colour roughs and finals

I also designed the book, working directly with an independent publisher to optimise page turns, text placement and layout

Tight turnaround on artwork (three months), with two feedback rounds included.
Project outcomes

The book was gifted to all primary age school children within the City of London, to promote literacy and creativity
